Desktop App
From web-first prototype to full gaming platform
Prototype (Web-First)
completed August 19, 2025
Users can install PeridotVault desktop and play directly through a secure web window. The app already supports buying games with PER and viewing them in the personal library. Developers can also create accounts and publish their first web-based games.
Alpha
The first native build of the launcher is introduced with download and install features. The platform expands to support multi-game libraries and basic wallet transactions. This phase ensures a stable app core for internal developer and tester use.
Closed Beta
Closed Beta opens for early players with web and native play options. Features like cloud saves, early payments, and developer publishing are tested in a controlled environment. The goal is to make the platform usable for core gameplay and feedback.
Open Beta
Open Beta brings social features such as friends and chat, along with a discovery feed and marketplace v1. The launcher begins to feel alive with player activity and community-driven content. Broader access helps stress-test the system at scale.
RC
The Release Candidate focuses on polish, stability, and scaling. Code signing, CDN optimizations, and SDK tools for developers are introduced. This version should be close to launch quality and ready for final validation.
Launch v1.0
The public release of PeridotVault marks the full launch of the desktop and gaming platform. Players can buy, play, and manage games securely with integrated payments and support. Compliance and marketing features prepare the platform for global reach.
Post-Launch 1.1–1.3
Post-launch updates introduce AI companion v2, events, and expanded marketplace options. Multiplayer features, tournaments, and early multichain prep are rolled out. These updates focus on growth, monetization, and long-term engagement.

Core Features

Implements fundamental wallet operations for PER and ICP tokens. Users can send, receive, manage tokens, and view complete transaction history through ICRC-3 block logs. This stage establishes the self-custody foundation of the Peridot Wallet.
Vault Integration

Enables seamless connection between the wallet and PeridotVault ecosystem. Users can approve and sign transactions to buy games, access content, and perform actions across the launcher. This transforms the wallet into the primary gateway for gameplay and purchases.
Advanced Features
Expands wallet capabilities with NFT viewing, staking, and enhanced security features such as 2FA and encrypted key backups. Prepares the wallet for multichain expansion and marketplace integration, making it a complete hub for digital assets.
Currency (PER)
Roadmap for PER Token as the core currency of the PeridotVault ecosystem, covering deployment, fee routing, buyback & burn, staking, treasury, and DEX integration.
